Microneedling is a process where multiple columns of needles are created in the skin, penetrating the papillary and reticular dermis and stimulating the production of new cells, angiogenesis, and collagen synthesis through a specific mechanism. In the rolling type, these needles are usually placed on a plastic roller mounted on a plastic handle, arranged in regular rows with distances of 1 or 2 millimeters and different lengths. The needles must be made of a special and stainless steel. The tips of these needles are sharp and uniform in depth of penetration. These rollers must be sterile and disposable.
