Sunburn

Sunburn is a skin condition that occurs when the skin is overexposed to the sun's ultraviolet (UV) radiation.
Symptoms of sunburn can include redness, swelling, pain, and peeling of the skin, and in severe cases, blistering and fever.

If you have sunburn, there are several things you can do to help alleviate your symptoms and promote healing:

1. Get out of the sun: If you are currently in the sun, seek shade or go indoors to prevent further damage to your skin.

2. Cool your skin: Apply a cool compress or take a cool bath or shower to help soothe your skin and reduce inflammation.

3. Moisturize: Apply a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer or aloe vera gel to help hydrate and soothe your skin.

4. Drink water: Sunburn can be dehydrating, so be sure to drink plenty of water and other fluids to help replenish your body's fluids.

5. Take over-the-counter pain relievers: If your sunburn is causing pain or discomfort, you can take over-the-counter pain relievers like ibuprofen or acetaminophen to help alleviate your symptoms.

It's important to note that the best way to prevent sunburn is to protect your skin from the sun's UV rays by wearing protective clothing, using sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30, and avoiding sun exposure during peak hours of the day when the sun's rays are strongest.
