What to do with blackheads?
Blackheads are formed when there is a blockage or plug in the hair follicles of your skin
Each follicle contains a hair and a sebaceous gland that
produces oil. This oil, called sebum, helps moisturize your skin. Dead skin
cells and oils accumulate inside the follicle opening, creating a protrusion
called a comedo. If the opening of the comedo remains closed, it is called a
whitehead. When the skin over the comedo opens, exposure to air causes it to
appear black, forming a blackhead.
• Proper makeup removal:
One of the main reasons for various types of acne,
especially blackheads, is that the skin pores are not properly cleaned and
impurities are left in the pores.
• Skin exfoliation:
One of the important ways to treat blackheads is skin
exfoliation. Exfoliation can penetrate inside the pores and dissolve and
eliminate the oil and impurities inside them.
• Controlling skin oiliness:
Blackheads are essentially the trapped and oxidized oils and
pollutants in the skin pores. In many cases, the hair on the nose is mistaken
for blackheads.
• Avoiding nose strips:
In fact, these strips tighten the blackhead and temporarily
give you the feeling that it has been treated. It is better to consider
permanent solutions instead.
